CHAIRMAN’S APPEAL

We, The Liberis Charity, believe that all children should have equal opportunity to improve their lives in particular the disadvantaged children who due to their disability depend on others for all or part of their day to day needs. Unfortunately there are many types of disabilities but today I will focus on communication.

Communication is one of the most important part of our lives and we all take it for granted but for those who cannot speak due to a vocal disability at birth, by accident or developed at a later stage due to other disabilities become dependent upon others and are unable to express their need, desire, fear or joy. Their lives become extremely hard and withdrawn within themselves which results in being isolated from families, friends and society in general. Their childhood is lost, and have very little or no chance at all to live an independent life or become a useful member of the society in the future.

Why should a child with communication difficulty suffer in silence?

Everyday new equipment and methods are being developed which are available and can be used to help such children overcome this type of disability at least partially and enable them to communicate and give them a chance.

The problem I believe, is lack of general understanding, the effect this type of disability has, funds and will to help.

The Liberis Charity is a unique charity, as it does not have any administration expense; these are met by the members of Club4BLRS from the monthly subscriptions, hence the funds received are used for the benefit of the disadvantaged children.

Help us to help the children in need, let us make a difference!

Please donate now.

My sincere thanks to you all. God bless.
